Khadija Innovation Lab launched its Digital Literacy and Coding Program for 18 students in Akkar, beginning with a skills assessment and a first Scratch training session. In a time of instability, the program gives students a space to build confidence, creativity, and hope through technology.

Khadija Innovation Lab’s Digital Literacy and Coding Program continued with three hands-on sessions where Grades 7–9 students learned Scratch, built interactive projects, created calculators, and explored loops and automation. Through coding, students are gaining confidence, problem-solving skills, and a stronger sense of possibility, one block of code at a time.

Elevio helped create Sheikh Ayyash School’s first innovation lab in Akkar, Lebanon, giving students access to computers, robotics, and coding. After power shortages limited the lab’s use, the project expanded with solar energy and battery storage, allowing the lab to operate reliably and students to learn without interruption.

In northern Lebanon, children and teenagers risk their lives scavenging in minefields just to make ends meet. This reality, driven by poverty and lack of opportunities, is a crisis that demands attention. No child should have to choose between survival and safety. It's time to invest in education and a better future.
